Privacy policy
We respect your privacy. Below we explain what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Restauracja Bliss Andrzej Biliński, ul. Zdrojowa 4, 57-320 Polanica-Zdrój, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 8831129114, operator of Pensjonat Bliss (ul. Wojska Polskiego 8a), e-mail: info@blisspolanica.pl, phone +48 601 084 352. You can contact us the same way about anything related to your personal data.
2. What data we process and why
- Booking and stay – name, phone, e-mail, dates of stay, number of guests, payment and invoice details. Legal basis: entering into and performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Enquiries – the details you give us in the enquiry form on our website, by e-mail or phone (e.g. about a stay). Legal basis: replying to your enquiry and steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Gift vouchers – the buyer’s details and the recipient’s name printed on the voucher. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Accounting – data on invoices and payment records. Legal basis: obligations under tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Establishing or defending legal claims – in the event of a dispute. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot accept a booking or reply to an enquiry. We do not make automated decisions about you and do not profile you.
3. Car park CCTV
The car park at the guesthouse is covered by CCTV to protect people and property (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Recordings are kept for up to 30 days, unless needed as evidence in proceedings – in that case until they are concluded. The monitored area is signposted.
4. Who receives your data
Your data may only be received by companies that help us run the guesthouse and act on our behalf: the provider of the IdoBooking online booking system, our web hosting and e-mail providers, our accounting firm and the banks handling payments. If you book through a portal (e.g. Booking.com), the portal processes your data under its own policy and passes on to us the details needed for your stay.
Google Maps on our site only load after you click, and the review buttons take you to Google. From that moment Google processes your data under its own policy – see our cookie policy for details.
5. How long we keep your data
- booking and stay data – for the duration of your stay and then until any claims become time-barred;
- invoices and accounting records – 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax payment deadline passed;
- correspondence and enquiries – up to one year after our last contact, unless they turn into a booking.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Just write to info@blisspolanica.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa) or the supervisory authority in your country.
7. Cookies
The website uses only strictly necessary cookies. See our cookie policy for details.
